VOLUNTEER DISTRICT BOARD MEMBERS NEEDED
Are you a fan of Little League
Baseball? Would you like to help kids become well-rounded adults? The
Board of Alberta District #2 Little League in Edmonton is looking for
you! We currently have positions available for a Communications and
Planning Director; Public Relations Director and Safety Officer. Alberta
District #2 is the governing body for the 4 Leagues in Edmonton;
Community Park, Confederation Park, East Park and Millwoods. If you are
interested in any of these positions, please contact District

ANNOUNCING AN EXCITING CHANGE TO THE 11
& 12 MAJOR DIVISION IN 2012
The Board of Alberta District #2
Little League in Edmonton is very pleased to announce that beginning
in 2012 the 4 Leagues, Community Park, Confederation Park, East Park
and Millwoods will be interlocking teams in the Major program. What
this means is that some Major teams from the 4 Leagues will now be
playing in a City wide schedule. The game schedules will be
determined based on how many teams each League wishes to
participate. Players will still need to play in at least 12 Little
League games to be eligible for Allstar play. The increased exposure
to playing a variety of teams from each League will heighten the
enjoyment of the game for each player. Further details will be
released at a later date.
